As promised Lola news& Lola pictures. Never too much Lola!

*Psssssssssssssttttttttttttttt* It's me.....Lola. I'm back and pounding the keyboard keys with my little pug nose. Have you missed me? I hope so, because I've sure missed you. If Ive had the opportunity to meet you that is. I feel like so much has happened between 'real' posts and hope to be able to fill you in on it all. On Thursday, May 15th I'll have been with the family for two months, but it already feels like two years. I have to say how blessed I am to have been brought to Ronkonkoma, and placed in the loving home that I live in. Then again, they're all just as lucky to have been graced with me. Because ya know...I could have said 'no way jose'.

So since it's been a while since you've seen pictures of me I will load you up. Please note that I'm naked in all of them, but hey sometimes being naked is just the way to go. I like feeling the breeze through my furs.

About a week and a half ago, Aunt Ida said that I needed an ice cream. Bless her heart! I had no idea what ice cream is, and when I asked Pooka and Cro`i, they told me it was pure bliss. So the family went out to dinner, without us kids of course, and upon their return we were treated to Friendly's vanilla ice cream. It was SO weird! Sweet and creamy, yet cold and refreshing. I dove right in, my little tongue lapping at it, and then it felt like my brain was going to explode. So mommy told me it was a brain freeze and to eat it slower. YEAH RIGHT, like I know the concept of eat and slow. Anyway as my little brain throbbed, I barked at the cup of ice cream and told it what I though of the meanness of hurting my head as I indulged.

I've been getting to taste more and more table foods. Of course they only give me 'teases' of what they're eating. On Cinco de Mayo (May 5th) Mommy got really sick. We don't know why- but on her way home from work some buggies in her belly made her get barfy in the car. By the time she got home, not only did she have a greenish tint to her, but she was as weak as a puppy or kitten. The next morning she felt slightly better, and made herself farina for breakfast. Of course she shared it with me. And guess what! It was woof-a-licious! I wish I could have it every day, but alas since that morning I have not had it pass my lips. Oh, look at my photo to the left....don't my eyes look spooky? Mommy tried to red-eye it out, but it wasn't working, so this is my bad-to-the-bone photo. Ha-ha-ha...bade-to-the-bone. I made a funny. :op

Don't I look so cute and innocent in the photo to the right? Couldn't you just eat me up? Due to my GORGEOUS looks, I can get away with just about everything. But it isn't always so. Just last week, Aunt Ida and I were playing in the backyard while Mommy and Grandmom were at work. Well after a little while I wandered off, and found a way out of the backyard. Aunt Ida had a heart attack when Christine across the street brought me home. Also, sometimes I get a little cranky, and I just want to chew on Mommy or Aunt Ida, or steal slippers. In the past I always got away with it. Not anymore! Now I've been getting lots of times out, in the crate. Which is not fun at all.....I feel like I'm in puppy prison. I've also learned from my brother and sister to climb up the couch, and then stand on the back of it. I love it, because I'm so tall and can see everything! Mommy, Aunt Ida, and Grandmom panic, as they think I'll try to jump off and fly, just like Iron Man. Every morning, when Mommy comes down to feed me and Pooka, and Cro`i I will wiggle up the back of the couch, like in the picture and give mommy tons of licks. And look at the middle of my nose! It's a lighter color than the rest of it!

I've been given a pretty clean bill of health. At my last puppy doctor visit I weighed (6) six pounds. When I went to dance class last week, Megan the receptionist helped measure me, and I stand at (7) seven inches. After the last poopie test, the results came back as negative.....meaning that the coccidia (parasite) is GONE FOR GOOD! Now all I have to do is get my Lyme's shoot and my Rabi shoot, get micro-chipped and I'll be done with seeing the wonderful medical staff at Hawkins Avenue Hospital for Animals (631-981-4111). At least for some time, anyway. My ears feel much better too...but Mommy, and Grandmom, and Aunt Ida still wash them out for me. And that's about all I can think of, that's rather new. I love visiting mommy's dance school because I get soooooo much attention. And I'm a firm believer is being spoiled. Until next time..enjoy my pictures, and Ill keep you posted. Happy mother's day to all the moms!
